Through photosynthesis, trees absorb carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas contributing to climate change, and release the oxygen we need to breathe. It's a fundamental process for life as we know it.
Trees filter pollutants and dust from the air, improving air quality. Their roots also help filter rainwater, preventing soil erosion and keeping our waterways cleaner.
Besides absorbing carbon dioxide, trees help regulate local climates by providing shade and releasing moisture into the air, which can cool temperatures and influence rainfall patterns.
Forests and trees provide beautiful landscapes for recreation, relaxation, and spiritual connection. They enhance our well-being and quality of life.
Trees provide essential habitats, food, and shelter for a vast array of plant, animal, and insect species, supporting complex and thriving ecosystems. Planting native trees is particularly beneficial for local wildlife.
In July 2025 I first took a healthy branch cutting, then promote root growth by placing it in moist soil + water then added root hormone.
On September 19 2025 my first project had enough roots to be planted.
While tree-of-heaven is known for its fast growth—growing 3 to 6 feet in its first year—the energy is focused on growing tall quickly, not on producing a large, leafy canopy. A mature, leafy tree can produce around 260 pounds of oxygen per year, a stark contrast to a seedling's output.
